Giedra Green, MA, DipPsych, UKCP
I am a fully qualified and experienced Adult Clinical Psychotherapist, registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. Over the past decade, I have trained in integrative, art therapy, transpersonal, and psychoanalytic approaches, enabling me to practise holistically and to adapt therapy to the unique needs of each client. I offer both long-term and short-term therapy online.
My core approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic models rather than following a single method. This allows us to work flexibly, meeting you where you are and shaping the process to best support your goals.
I have experience working in private and public mental health sectors. I have supported clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, trauma (both early developmental and single-event), PTSD, relationship difficulties, family dynamics, identity crises, major life transitions, miscarriage, motherhood, infertility, career changes, divorce, abuse, age related issues, anger management, sexuality, neurodiversity, and the unique challenges faced by first responders.
My background in history gives me a sensitivity to the bigger picture — how family patterns, cultural narratives, and historical events can shape personal experience. It helps me support clients in understanding their struggles not only as isolated problems but as part of a broader story that can be acknowledged, reframed, and transformed.
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to creating a safe, collaborative, and co-creative space where your story can be explored in depth, understood in context, and transformed in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to you.
